The BMA say: "Studies in Sweden have shown that the injury reducing rate for rear seat belts is 28% for adults and 52% for children." There is a reported drop of 25% in deaths and serious injuries since front seat belts were made compulsory. % More

Each year the Post Office spends £10 million dealing with more than 100 million badly or wrongly addressed litters. A campaign is being launched to urge people to put return addresses on the backs of envelopes. The Appeal Judges ruled that two women, who worked from home making boys' trousers for a Cambridge clothing company, were direct employees entitled to protection from unfair dismissal. Their complaint of unfair dismissal can now bj investigated on its merits. More
