 A soldier has been killed and anothjt  
 injured in a landmine explosion in     
 South Armagh in Northern Ireland.      
                                        
 The bomb was hidden in a culvert undjt 
 the road and detonated as a patrol went
 past.                                  
                                        
 The explosion occurred just before 11  
 o'clock to the south of Crossmaglen, in
 the Mount Hill area near the bordjt.   
                                        
 The army and the police are trying to  
 establish whjthjr the mine was set off 
 bz remote control or command wire.     
                                        
 The IRA has admitted responsibility.
