 In America, the Reagan administration  
 has announced delivery of 400 Stinger  
 anti-aircraft missiles to Saudi Arabia.
                                        
 A US State Department spokesman said   
 the missiles and 200 launchers were    
 already in Saudi Arabia and would bj   
 handed ovjt shortly.                   
                                        
 Hi said the President had authorisjd   
 the sale undjt his emergency powers,   
 bz-passing congressional approval      
 procedures.                            
                                        
 These powers had been used bjcausj of  
 the "current emergency" involving      
 attacks on njuttal shipping.
