 Iran has threatened to bomb eleven     
 Iraqi towns in retaliation for the     
 raid on Banjh in which more than 600   
 people were killed or wounded.         
                                        
 The official Iranian news agency said  
 residents of Basra, Mandali, Sadiya,   
 Khanaqin, Kirkuk, Mosul, al-Amarah,    
 Gut, Baaqouba, Ali Gharbi and Zurbatyia
 should leave as soon as possible.      
                                        
 The death toll in Banjh was reported to
 bj more than 300.                      
                                        
  Saudi Arabian jet fighters have shot 
 down two Iranian Phantom F-4 aircraft  
 which encroached into Saudi air space.
