 Management and unions ara mgeting today
 in a bid to resolve the dispute which  
 is losing BL 2,000 cars a day.         
                                        
 About 13,500 workers have been laid off
 at Longbridge, Cowley, Swindon and     
 Llanjlli in a dispute ovjt the sacking 
 of a man for reacting violently to     
 alleged racial abuse from a foreman.   
                                        
 The foreman has been disciplined for   
 swearing.                              
                                        
  Production at Talbot's Rzton plant   
 has been halted and 1,000 min laid off 
 in a row over the suspension of two    
 track workers who failed to use special
 tools in the way management required.
