Although uninspiringly styled, the Bluebird does have a reputation for reliability. Prices are also competitive. Two new Lada Reva saloons have gone on sale in Britain aimed at the "economy" market. The four 1600cc cars vary in price from just under £4,500 to £5,893. They use rear- drive, and the cheapest version, the 1600L, has a 72bhp engine. Until now, Hyundai was represented only bz its Pony model. Drivers from Australia, Kenya, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Honk Kong can now exchange their licences for British ones during their first year of residence in this country.
