 The Commons voted for the move by a    
 majority of 168.                       
                                        
 Earlier this month thjte were          
 complaints that he had threatened      
 Conservative MPs who su8pouted a mg6u  
 to cut GLC spending.                   
                                        
 Mr Banks threatened to "hit the        
 constituenciesb of Tories who voted for
 cuts. Later hj refused to withdraw the
