 Tjachjts' strikes in England and Wales 
 are to continue next week, the National
 Union of Tjachjts has said.            
                                        
 Some 400 schools were closed today,    
 affecting 200,000 pupils.              
                                        
 The NUT has blamed the employers for   
 the disruption saying that instead of  
 agreeing to a meeting this Friday to   
 discuss arbitration, the employers had 
 put it off until next week.            
                                        
 The NUT has also attacked Govjtnmjnt   
 involvement in its pay negotiations;   
 it says such interference is illegal.
