Although we consume a vast amount of ice cream, very little of it contains much dairy fat or real cream. A high proportion - 92% - is made principally from vegetable fats. CAMRJC'S seal of approval is earned only if no vegetable fat is used and the ice cream has a minimum content of 10% dairy fat.
