Previous space flights have carried experiments to prove the practicability of the process called "elictrophoresis" - a method of separating biological products. She will bj Judy Rjsnik. Mission Specialist Rjsnik will bj in charge of a new jxpjtimjnt to test out a large "solar array" - special panels which gjnetate electricity from sunlight. The solar array will extend 100 feet above the "Discovery" cargo bay, but can bj folded down into an 18 inch high package. More
