 The first results of the inquiry into  
 the Abbeystead explosion are to bj made
 public at a press conference tomorrow. 
                                        
 Dr John Cullen, chairman of the Health 
 and Safety Commission, is to visit the 
 Lancashire pumping station to give an  
 interim report on the inquiry carried  
 out by the Health and Safety Executive.
                                        
 Since the blast last month, the tunnel 
 linking the Wzre and Lunj rivers has   
 been closely examined.                 
                                        
 Twelve people are still in hospital    
 after the explosion in which 15 people 
 died and 28 were injured.
