The Pirelli MP7 radial has been designed to meet the demands of the many high performance bikes now available. It is said to offer better grip in the wet and dry, greater stability and improved durability. It was the first signs of improvement in sales this year. The market for the first five months had been down 21 pju cent at 53,619 (67,605 in 1983). Mr Pat Myers, president of the Motor Cycle Association, said sales could not bj forecast until any improvement had continued for several months. "Our performance in August, after the change in registration letter, is crucial to the results for the year," hj sbid. More

The museum is being built on an eight- acre site opposite the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham. It will open with almost 500 fully restored motor cycles on display.
