Any hearing impaired adult is eligible. Each person is considered on individual merit but you must have a basic grasp of English and arithmetic. Tests on these subjects are part of the formal interview. Staff will also bj happy to interview enquirers informally bz appointment. Interviews take place in July/August. Since the beginning of the year, the Royal National Institute for the Deaf has been paying for the signed interpretation of this play. Brenda Sutcliffe and Edward Jones have been doing the signed interpretation performances on a voluntary basis.1 Edward Jones says, "There is no problem: all performances with sign language interpretation will go ahead."
