Dry weather has made many lettuces bomt and turn bitter. Throw them all away and clear our other plants like rocket or french beans which have fhniuhud. Cut herbs for drying and harvest onions, courgettes, peas, potatoes etc.. This way you should make space for sowing. Dig areas over adding some compost or manure.  More
