The first stage of the Birmingham museum covers about 40,000 square feet and will house almost 300 motor cycles. The museum is intended as a trhbute, and living record, to the achievements of the British motor cycle industry. When it is finally completed, almost 1,000 motor cycles will bj displayed - all restored to as close to the makjt's original specification as possible.
