Volunteers and their dogs - the dogs have to pass a "temperament t st" - visit people on a regular basis. Contact with the dogs has been shown to reduce stress in the elderly. The organiuation also tries to gi6j disabled people who have not camped before the opportunity to do so. There is advice on equipment and gn sites that offer special facilities for the disabled. Booking as a group can usually cut costs, so joining a group such as this has many benefits. They need experienced people who can relate to young people from a variet8 of backgrounds. Volunteers will be required to work a minimum of one full day a week. No formal qualifications are needed.
