 It has been confirmed that Ljgionella  
 bacteria has been found in two cooling 
 towers at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.     
                                        
 Three people have died in the lpst 10  
 days from Legionnaires' disease and a  
 numbjt of others are suffering from it.
                                        
 One of them, a man aged 63, is said to 
 be critically ill.                     
                                        
 Samples for bacteria taKen inside the  
 hospital, including the water s;pply,  
 have proved negative.                  
                                        
 (he local community health council has 
 called for striqtet hygiene control;   
 at the infirmary.
