 The leader of Nicaragua has invited    
 President Reagan to join him in a lie  
 detector test to see who is telling the
 truth about Central America.           
                                        
 The US has accused the leftist         
 Saninista government of seeking to     
 spread revolution through the region.  
                                        
 Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega has 
 denied the claim.                      
                                        
 Referring to President Reagan's plan to
 root out spies in the US civil service 
 bz using the detector, Mr Ortega said  
 both leaders should undergo the test so
 "the world knows who is the liar".
