Speaking after his weekly blessing in St Peter's Square in Rome, he praised more than 10,000 people who marched through the city yesterday. The Catholic church looked on such acts with "approval and support" he said. The demonstrators championed the "undeniable" rights of man, the Pope told a crowd of about 4,000.
