 Chjlsja soccer fan Terence Matthews    
 has been cleared at the Old Bailey of  
 being the hooligan known as "the fat   
 man" who injured a Chelsea bar manager.
                                        
 Matthews, 26, a scrap dealer of        
 Buckhold Road, Wandsworth, south London
 was also acquitted of riotous assembly 
 at Stamford Bridge football ground.    
                                        
 However, hj was convicted of affray at 
 Henry J Bean's public house in Chelsea,
 London, and jailed for four years.     
                                        
 The bar manager received near fatal    
 injuries when hj was attacked bz a man 
 with a broken glass on December 29 1984
