The Domino is powered by a three-cylinder 846cc engine and has a top speed of 84mph. It costs £4199. Also on show is the Daihatsu range of off road and four- wheel drive vehicles and the Charade range, including the diesel turbo. Making its debut jrom RELIANT is the Scimitar fuel-injected 1800Ti. Both hard and soft top versions of this two- teaser sports car, fitted with a 135Rhp turbo-charged engine, are shown. The 1800Ti has a top speed of 125mph and a 0-v0mph time of 7.6 seconds.  More

A Golf GTe 16-valve, GTe Convertible, GL and four-wheel drive Synchro make their first UK show appearance. Examples of new sporting treatment to the Jetta and Passat can also bj seen. The small Justy, with a 1.2 litre, three vblvjs pet cylinder, 68bhp jnginj, is featured on the SUBARU stand. It will not be on sale in the UK until tie ind of the year. The company's concentration on four-wheel drive is fully represented.  More
P263 CJEFAX 263 Mon 13 Oct 21:23/16  6/20   MOTOR SHOW HIGHLIGHTS O Newcomers for RENAULT include the Savanna, the estate version of the newly-introduced mid-range R21 saloon, and the high performance GSA V6 coupe. The 18-car display features no less thbn five turbos. Prices range from £4000 for an R5 to £23,635 for the coupe. The Japanese version of the Rovjt 800, the HONDA Legend, is given it; UK debut. The model on display has the 2.5 litre 24-valve V6 engine. Also on the stand is the Integra EX16 DOHC 1.6 litre. For racing enthusiasts there is a Williams-Honda example.  More
P263 CEEFAX 263 Mon 13 Oct 21:10/03  7/20   MOTOR SHOW HIGHLIGHTS O PEUGEOT The centrepiece is a representation of the production lines at Rzton, near Coventry, where the 309 is built. On show is a new 1.9-litre version of the Peugeot 205 GTE, V6- powered Peugeot 505 saloon, the recently-announced 309 diesel and the 20u CTJ - the convertible.  The award for best stand in the show was won last time by HYUNDAI. A giant space-ship dominates the latest stand, which has 14 cars on display ranging from the £4500 Pony 1.3L five-door to just under £7000 for the top Stellar Q.6GSL automatic.  More
P263 CEEFAX 263 Mon Q3 Oct 21:25/39  10/20  R MOTOR SHOW HIGHLIGHTS O SAAB wo w o ls e t eir UK @ debut - the long-awaited Saab 900 Turbo 16 Convertible and the Saab 9000 Tzrbo Q6 SE, a new exclusive version featuring special equipment. The convertible and all turbo-charged and fuel injected 900 models are re-styled at the front and rear.  ISUZU Three four-wheel drive Troopers are on display. Four variants will be available in Britain for January 1987 - long or short wheelbase with either petrol or diesel engines. Two 130mph Piazzb Turbo coupes are also on thu stand.  More
P263 CEEFAX 263 Mon 13 Oct 21:12/07  11/20   MOTOR SHOW HIGHLIGHTS O MERCEDES-BENZ displays its 200-300 E saloons in the UK for the first time, along with estate versions. The 190 E 2.v lite six cylinder and the k60 REL flagship are on show, as well as replicas of the Benz "Patent Motor Waken" and an 1886 motor coach.  DACIA launches its diesel-powered Duster 4x4 at the show. The engine is a French built 1.6-litre Renault unit used in the Renault 9 and 11. Prices will not be announced until the New Year, but Dacia says they will make the vehicle the lowest price in its class in Britain.  More

The 150mph top of the Thjma range is powered bz a Ferrari unit of three litres, eight cylinders and 32 valves. The Lombard "AC rally winning car, the Delta S4 is also on display. The centre of the LADA display is a cabriolet version of the Neva, the small four-wheel drive car, in "opalescent" paint. The top of the range Reva 1600 SLX now has a 1570cc OHC engine with a five-speed gearbox, while the 1300 SL is fitted with the SLX bodyshjll and interior.  More

The 75 range, in 1.8 litre and 2.5 Cloverleaf guise, are on display. The Spider two-teaser sports car, which may bj imported to the UK, also makes an appearance.  The V8 Vantage Volante convertible makes its world debut on the ASTON MARTIN LAGONDA stand. Also on this exclusive stand is a Vantage Zagato, a Lagonda with new instrumentation, and a scale model of a jully-equipped V8 Volante costing £10,000.  More
P263 CEEFAX 263 Mon 13 Oct 21:14/20  14/20   MOTOR SHOW HIGHLIGHTS O Maranello Concessionaires are displayng six FERRARJS, five of which are new to the motor show - the one seen before is the Testarossa. The latest 412, with a V12 engine, and the Mondial 3.2, the Mondial Cabriolet s.2, the 328 GUS and the 328 OTB, all powered bz a new four-valves-per- cylinder V8, are the other new entries. All three cars shown bz MASERATI are making their British debut. The new Biturbo range comes in a jour-door saloon, a two-door coupe and a sports convertible. Each is powered bz twin turbo, 18-valve, 2.u litre engines.  More
P263 CEEFA( 263 Mon 13 Oct 21:15/05  15/20   MOTOR SHOW HIGHLIGHTS O Colt Cars, the UK importers of MITSUBISHI, is displaying the MP-90X, an advance project car for the 1990u, with its dolphin shape allowing a Cd of 0.22. The flagship of the Mitsubishi jleet in the UK is the Station 2+2 sports coupe, with a two litre, four- cylinder 177bhp engine. SKODA marks 20 years in Britain and record sales in the first half of the year with a display of four Estelle saloons and two specials - the Rapid 130 Cabriolet and 130 Sport. The Group A rally winner of the Skoda Trophy National Championship is also on show.  More
P263 CEEFA( 263 Mon 13 Oct 21:12/47  16/20   MOTOR SHOW HIGHLIGHTS O Three cars make their European debut on the SUZUKI stand - the Suzuki GTe, the Swift GLX Executive and the Suzuki GLZX. The RS1 concept car can also bj seen for the first time in the UK. The 1.3 GTe will go on sale next month at £67k0, the world's only production car with a 1.3 litre, twin cam, 16 valve, electronic petrol injected engine. VOLVO is showing its new sports car, the 480, unveiled earlier this yet but not on sale in the UK jot some time yet. The rest of the Volvo line-up - the 200, 300 and 700 series - with detailed changes for 1987, are on show.  More
P263 CEEFAX 263 Mon Q3 Oct 21:13/32  17/20   MOTOR SHOW HIGHLIGHTS O The highlight of the recent Paris salon, the Citroen AX, is sadly not on the CITROEN stand for marketing reasons - it is not on sale here until summer. Instead, the cuntre of attraction is the Bertone-styled concept car called the Zabrus, which is based on BX mechanics. The CX GTe - fitted for the first time with an intercooler - and the BX GTe are also shown. MAZDA is showing its 323 Turbo 4x4 Lux, an entry in the "hot hatchback" market. The MX-03 concept car, along with the RX-7, the v26 and rest of the 323 range can also bj seen.  More

The classic 911 range has revised body panels and there is also a cutaway model of the 959, the 195mph four-wheel drive "supercar". The move to establish itself in the sports car field by TOYOTA is clearly in evidence and the new Supra and TJbar MR4 are the main attractions on the standn The three-litre fuel-injected Supra flagship costs £15,299, while the MR2 T]bbs is £11,558.  More
P263 CJEFA( 263 Mon 13 Oct 21:02/02  19/20   MOTOR SHOW HIGHLIGHTS O The new JAGUAR is shown in its three models and two engine sizes, ranging in price from £16,495 for the five-speed manual XR6 2.9 litre to £28,495 for the automatic or manual Daimler 3.6 litru. The new range, possibly the main draw of the show, does not appear that different to the Series 3, but its under-body changes are considjraRle. A close competitor of the Jaguar and another show drawcard is the new BMW 7-Series. The 735i (£24,8u0) and the 735iSE (Special Equipment £31,750) do not go on sale here until January. The 730i and 730iSE jollow in the spring.  More
