More than 200 seamen voted unanimously to continue occupying the ferries until their dispute over redundancy payments for seasonal crew is resolved. The dispute began over two weeks ago when Sealing announced the withdrawal of its service to the Channel Islands, with resulting redundancies. The NUS says the continued action after the dispute has been resolved seems to result from a misunderstanding. News index 102/202 Newsreel 119/219
