 Grimsby's Mike Hallett came back from  
 an early deficit to dismiss Les Dodd   
 with a comfortable 5-2 win.            
                                        
 Hallett started well with a clearance  
 of 67 to take the opening frame but    
 Dodd came back at him to go 2-1 ahead. 
                                        
 Hallett drew l vjl with a superb 93    
 "teak and from then on his 32-year-old 
 opponent rarely got a look in the      
 Grimsbz man grew in confidence.        
                                        
 A break of 76 stretched the lead to 4-2
 and although Dodd resisted bravely in  
 frame seven, Hallett prevailed to move
