 Libya has closed its airspace to       
 British aircraft in support of Syria.  
                                        
 The official Libyan news agency JANA   
 said the move was in retaliation for   
 Britain's decision to break diplomatic 
 links with Syria.                      
                                        
 A spokesman for the Department of      
 Transport in London said, as far as he 
 knew, no British flights would be      
 affected bz the move.                  
                                        
 British Airways and British Caledonian 
 have confirmed they do not have any    
 flights into or over Libya.
