 Mozambique has not ruled out the       
 possibility that South Africa was      
 involved in President Machel's death.  
                                        
 Information minister Teodato Hunguana  
 was quoted as saying that the plane    
 crash in which Mr Machel died may have 
 been caused "bz criminal action."      
                                        
 The official Mozambique news agency    
 said Mr Hunguana had commented that the
 possibility of South African           
 involvement had not been ruled out.    
                                        
 The semi-official Noticias paper has   
 already said Pretoria might have used  
 technical means to divert the plane.
