As a result, the organisjrs owed nearly £4 million to 90 companies. Mr Maxwell says the money will bj paid "z a donation of £1.5 million from some of the major creditors, £700,000 from his own companies and £1.3 million from Japanese businessman Mr Iziochi Sasaskawa.
