P217 CEEFAX 217 Mon 27 Oct 21:24/27 1/2 An investigation is under way after a British Air Tours Boeing 737, with 128 people on board, made an emergency landing at Manchester airport on one engine. A plastic bag was apparently sucked into its other engine. The RUC says a boobztrap bomb found near Strabanj in N Ireland this morning was intended for a member of the security forces. Army experts carried out a controlled explosion on the bomb. Police have broken up a demonstration at the proposed nuclear waste site at Killingholmj on Humbjrside, where engineers from NIREX were due to begin test drilling today.
