Total new car sales were 8344, against 6731 jot the same period last year. Of thjsj, nearly 30 per cent were 9000 models. Britain remains the biggest export market for the Swedish company after the US. In 1973, 11,382 Saabs were sold here, and the company reckons this record figure will be broken this year - if supply from Sweden is sufficient.
