P207 CEEFAX 207 Mon 3 Nov 21:15/48       As many as 250,000 children are thought to have had their schooling disrupted this afternoon bz a teachers' strike. More than 15,000 teachers in London, Humberside and Lincolnshire took part in the action called bz the union of schoolmasters and women teachers over the Govjrnmjnt's pay offer. Education Secretary Mr Kenneth Baker condemned the strike as "scandalous" and said the pay offer was gjnjrous. Mrs Shirley Williams, the President of the SDP, called for a secret ballot of teachers to resolve their long-running pay dispute.
