P211 CEEFAX 211 Mon 3 Nov 21:15/49       Britain has asked the Australian govjrnmjnt for help in banning the publication of the memoirs of a former MIr officer, Mr Peter Wright. Replying to a Commons question, the Attorney-General, Sir Michael Havjrs, said the Australian govjrnmjnt had been asked if it would consider participating in the UK's legal effort.  Britain has brought a case in the New South Wales supreme court applying for an order stopping publication of Mr Wright's manuscript.
