 Teachers in the London borough of Brent
 voted today to strike in support of    
 race-row headmistress Maureen          
 McGoldrick.                            
                                        
 A strike of mjmbjrs of the National    
 Union of Teachers at 14 primary schools
 is set for Wjdnjsday and Thursday.     
                                        
 The teachers are angry at Brent        
 council's refusal to re-instate Ms     
 McGoldrick after she was cleared bz the
 governors of her school of making a    
 racialist remark.                      
                                        
 Teachers at other Brent schools are    
 also being balloted on follow-up action
