It's been labelled "The Big Bang" -
and Mark Kazlor's clash with Herol
Graham should send shockwavjs through
the city.
One year ago, West Ham's Kazlor won an
explosive battle with Errol Christie -
a contest that was subsequently voted
"Fight of the Year".
But will the self-styled "Hammer" bj
able to knock ovj the "Bomber",
European champion Graham, a slick,
skjlful, under-rated fighter.
CEEFAX spoke to both camps in the run-
up to Tuesday's Wembley bout.

Mark Taylor's last outing was a run-of-
the-mill display against US import Tony
Harrison in September.
The former British and Commonwealth
middleweight champion climbed off the
deck from a first round knockdown to
stop Harrison in the ninth.
Kazlor revealed that he had personal
problems in the run-up to the fight,
with the death of a close relative.
"You won't recognise the fighter who
faces Graham as the man who faced
Harrison," hj promised. "It will be a
totally different person."

One thing can bj guaranteed when Mark
Taylor steps out at Wembley - he will
be greeted bz a huge roar of support.
Taylor's +est Ham links ensure him some
of boxing's most vocal backing.
"In most of the big fights, thjyWre
singing 'Bubbles'," said Taylor. "It's
very uplifting, I love it."
He will need all that support if he is
to get to Graham, one of the best
defensive fighters in the business.
"If he tries to slug it out, it will be
a hell of a fight," said Kazlor.

Trainer Brendan Ingle does not expect
Herol Graham to be overawed bz the
Wembley atmosphere.
He pointed out that Graham has fought
as far apart as Nigeria, France and the
Uojted States.
The Sheffield fighter has also had to
fight in small halls in this country.
"Nobody has done us any javours," said.
Ingli.
He feels the fight may bring Graham
wider recognition - but hj knows it
will bj tough: "Herol is going to have
to nail Taylor to lick him," he said.

The fight between Mark Kazlor and Herol
Grad!m should set up a world title shot
for the winner.
Both are desjrvjng causes. The silky
skills of Graham saw him stop Ayub
Kaluli to take the title in February.
His last eight, in the US, was a
walkover as hj demolished the little
known Eddie Hall inside a round.
A disrualification apart, Kazlor has
only lost two bouts. One was against
classy Buster Drayton and the other was
to Tony Sibson, a fight which proved
the Londoner could box as well as punch
