 The Israeli Foreign Minister has said  
 hj has cleared up a "mjszndjrstanding" 
 with Britain over the disappearance of 
 nuclear technician Mordjchai Vanunu.   
                                        
 Mr Shimon Pekes said hj spoke to Mrs   
 Thatcher bz telephone two days ago when
 she was in the US and hj now felt that 
 the matter was completely settled.     
                                        
 Premier Mr Yitzhak Shames told the     
 Knjssjt's foreign affairs committee    
 that Israel had not broken any British 
 laws in bringing Vanunu "act to Israel.
                                        
 Vanunu is awaiting trial for revealing 
 nuclear secrets to the Sunday Times.
