 The trial has opened in West Berlin of 
 two Jordanians accused of a bomb attack
 in the West German city in March in    
 which nine people were wounded.        
                                        
 One of the accused, Ahmed Hasi, is the 
 "rothjr of Mizar Hindawi, the Jordanian
 jailed in Britain for attempting to    
 blow up an Israeli airliner.           
                                        
 In pre-trial testimony, Hasi said the  
 explosives used in the bombing were    
 smuggled in to East Berlin from Syria. 
                                        
 The trial was halted until Tujsdaz when
 Hasj had a 15-minute outburst, razing  
 hj had been mentally tortured.
