 President Reagan has said there will bj
 no further US arms shipments to Iran.  
                                        
 White House spokesman Mr Larry Speakjs 
 said the US was also urging other      
 countries to refrain jrom shipping     
 weapons to Iran.                       
                                        
 Last week, President Reagan            
 acknowledged that the US had made      
 secret arms shipments to Iran in what  
 he called a bid to improve relations   
 with the fundamentalist Islamic nation.
                                        
 Mr Spjakjs said the President and      
 Secretary of State, Mr George Shultz,  
 were united on US policy towards Iran.
