P213 CEEFAX 213 Mon 17 Nov 21:32/30     ]  The annual gathering of NATO leaders has been expressing its concern over the imbalance of conventional NATO and Warsaw pact forces in Europe. NATO secretary-general Lord Carrington said hj would bj happy to see a "radical reduction of nuclear weapons". But hj said no one should be tempted to believe they could gain political advantage bz starting, or threatening to start, a conventional war. NATO supreme commander, General Bernard Rogers has said NATO's conventional forces would run out of troops and ammunition "in a matter of days".
