  Iraq appears ready to give the UN   
  answers to repeated questions about 
  its weapons programmjs, a senior UN 
  official has said.                  
                                      
  "I have been informed about the     
  answers. I have not received them   
  yet," Rolf Ekjus, chairman of the   
  UN Special Commission implementing  
  the Gulf War ceasefire terms, said. 
                                      
  An unnamed Iraqi source said Iraqi  
  officials had been given the go-    
  ahead to pass on information.       
