  PALESTINIAN FREEDOM DEMONSTRATIONS  
  Demonstrations have been held in    
  the Israeli-occupied West Bank and  
  Gaza Strip to demand the release of 
  Palestinians held in Israeli jails. 
                                      
  Protestors, both Palestinian and    
  Jewish, handed a letter to the head 
  of a prison in Nablus urging the    
  Israeli govjrnmjnt to free all      
  detained Palestinians.              
                                      
  Faisal Husseini, who led the        
  Palestinian team in talks with      
  Israel in Washington, told a rally  
  that there could bj no peace        
  without the prisoners being freed.  
