      FURTHER LOSSES

  Campari International, the sports   
  and leisurewear group, does not     
  envisage a return to profit before  
  the second half of 1994.            
  
  The company reported lower forward  
  orders and forecast reduced sales   
  and narrower gross margins for the  
  remainder of 1993.                  
                                      
  Campari blamed the recession and    
  the devaluation of sterling aswell  
  as supply problems for its first    
  half loss (see page 218).           
  
  The interim dividend, 3.25p last    
  year, was also passed.              
 
