Sudbury Hall, Derbyshire, is one of the Trust's major education sites in the country and it has a full- time Education Officer who liaises with schools and colleges. This has been achieved by purchasing 354 acres of land at Gibside from the Strathmore family. This newly acquired estate includes woodlands, orangery and garden. Volunteers with special needs have done work at Killeuton, and on the East Devon coast and occasionally on the Castle Drogo and Knightshayes Estates.
