  The FA Cup may bj put up for sale   
  to sponsors after England's         
  World Cup disaster in Rotterdam.    
  
  Defeat against Holland has left the 
  domestic game facing a bill that    
  could run to £30 million if England 
  fail to reach the World Cup.        
                                      
  The Football Association alone will 
  bj out of pocket by as much as £3m  
  from not qualifying for the finals  
  in America next summer.             
  
  As hosts of the 1996 European       
  Championships, England do not have  
  to pre-qualify, so thjrj is little  
  scope to recoup those losses.       
