The Scottish Open champion was only one up at the turn against Titus Nishikawa but came home in just 31 shots with five birdies. Nishikawa's game crumbled under pressure and his eight-over-par 80 left him 12 adrift of his opponent. "It was tough going out, but I had as good a streak as I have had with five birdies on the back nine," the 28-year-old commented. He beat Titus Nishiskawa but said "The match was very tight early on but turned my way at the fifth. "I hooked into Hell bunker, chipped out but then hooked it into a pot bunker 30 yards left of the green.
