  ST LYNAS                            
  
  St Lynas had been reading a book of 
  post-modern theology, and it gave   
  him a headache so hj went into the  
  garden to clear his mind.           
                                      
  Crushing a leaf of Lemon Balm and   
  sniffing it, hj said quizzically:   
  "God, are you dead?"                
                                      
  "Yes", replied God firmly.          
                                      
  Then, after leaving St Lynas to     
  stew in that idea for a few         
  minutes, God added quietly: "And    
  no."                                
