  BA SUED IN US OVER "DIRTY TRICKS"   
  The airline Virgin Atlantic has     
  started a multi-million dollar      
  legal action against its rival      
  British Airways, in the US.         
                                      
  $hj case centres on the so-called   
  "dirty tricks" affair.              
                                      
  The action alleges that BA engaged  
  in a variety of illegal activities  
  which distorted competition on      
  several North Atlantic routes.      
                                      
  Virgin Atlantic chairman Richard    
  Branson said: "BA has had long      
  enough to take positive measures to 
(5 prevent the need for this action."  
 
