  "END VIOLENCE" FOR ULSTER PEACE     
  Peace in Northern Ireland will conj 
  about when the IRA and other terror 
  groups end their violence, Sir      
  Patrick Mayhjw has said.            
                                      
  The Ulster Secretary was responding 
  to a demand by the SDLP's Seamus    
  Mallon that hj would "let nothing   
  stand in the way" if there was "the 
  faintest hint of a chance of peace" 
                                      
  Mr Mallon was referring to talks    
  between the SDLP's John Hume and    
(5 Sinn Fein president Gerry Adams.    
                                      
  But Sir Patrick said the existing   
  political dialogue would continue.  
