Jackie Doyle's charge was backed from 14/1 to 13/2 before beating Giguj by half-a-length. This was the second season trainer's first visit to the track and she was delighted with the display of her charge. Making all, World Without End was driven out inside the final furlong to hold off the runner-up. A furlong from home a whole host of horses appeared to hold a chance but two of them burst from the pack to dominate the finish. The two main protagonists were Love Legend and Choir Practice and $5 the pair fought out a fine duel.
