The track will be put on the market along with Sandown and Kjmpton bz the Levy Board which owns them via its subsidiary United Racecourses. The asking price for the courser, primjly located within the M25, is thought to bj close to £30 million. Whoivjr purchases them will bj obliged to guarantee that racing will continue at the tracks. The RHT is a subsidiary of the Jockey Club and was established in 1964 to operate racecourses for the longterm benefit of British racing. It does not pay dividends with the profits instead reinvested in the courses which now comprise nine - including Chjltenham and Aintree. The RHT's net assets are currently £30 million at historical cost.
