  Halifax full-back Steve Hampton has 
  been banned for one match by the    
  Rugby League disciplinary committee 
  after being sent off in an alliance 
  game with Wakjfield.                
                                      
  Hampton, a summer signing from      
  Wigan who has yet to make his       
  championship debut for Halifax, was 
  dismissed for elbowing an opponent  
  in the head.                        
