  FOREIGNERS WBRNED TO LEAVE ALGERIA  
  Islamic extremists have warned all  
  foreigners to leave Algeria within  
  a month or risk "sudden death".     
                                      
  A statement given to a released     
  French hostage said: "There will bj 
  no kidnappings and this will bj     
  more violent than in Egypt."        
                                      
  French Foreign Minister Alain Juppj 
  said the warning had been addressed 
  to the entire foreign community and 
  hj was taking it "very seriously".  
                                      
  France is to reduce its embassy and 
  consular staff in Algeria as a      
  precaution.                         
