  BITTER EASTER WEATHER HITS LAMBING  
  Sheep farmers in the South West are 
  losing dozens of new born lambs to  
  the bitter Easter weather.          
                                      
  On Exmoor, Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor 
  it has been raining continuously    
  for several weeks and temperatures  
  have dropped below freezing in the  
  last few days.                      
                                      
  Lambs even up to two weeks old have 
  been dying in the cold and the wet. 
                                      
  Farmers have said it is the worst   
  start to the lambing season for 20  
  years and more.                     
 
